I’ve always loved exploring the world’s natural beauty, and both landscape and wildlife photography allow me to do that to my heart’s content—while also seeing it from a different perspective. For me, the most fascinating aspect of nature photography is trying to capture the perfect lighting at just the right moment, and I enjoy the fact that those moments are often incredibly fleeting.

There’s nothing more beautiful than watching a mountain or sky illuminate with the first rays of light, or catching the glow reflected in the clouds as the sun sets. I also enjoy capturing wildlife in action: a whale breaching, a bear catching a salmon, or a hummingbird sipping nectar from a flower.

The perfect photography moment often arrives very quickly—and may last for only an instant. Hence the name: Quinstant.
